Rajarshi Gurukul joyfully celebrated Chinese Cultural Day on 15th December 2025 at the RG Futsal Ground, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with culture, creativity, and enthusiasm. The event aimed to introduce students to the rich traditions, art, music, and lifestyle of China through interactive experiences and performances.
The school transformed into a lively cultural hub with various Chinese cultural experience stalls. Students actively participated in Chinese calligraphy, learning to write characters such as 福 (Fu) and 爱 (Ai) using traditional brush pens. The Drawing and Poster Stall showcased students’ creativity through beautiful artworks inspired by Chinese culture, while the Art Exhibition Stall displayed impressive student paintings and craftwork related to China.
One of the highlights was the Hanfu Try-on Stall, where students experienced wearing traditional Chinese attire. The excitement continued at the Chopstick Challenge Stall, where students tested their skills by picking beans using chopsticks, and the Pitch-pot game, a traditional Chinese activity that brought joy and friendly competition among students.
The program was further enriched by the presence of guests from the China Volunteer House, adding authenticity and cultural depth to the celebration.
The stage performances began with delightful presentations by the junior grades, captivating the audience with their confidence and energy.Grade 5 students performed a graceful dance to “Xiao Chuan Yao”.Grade 2 students presented a melodious song, “Zhang Peng You”.Grade 4 students performed a beautiful dance to “As Long As You”.Grade 3 students sang “Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin”, touching the hearts of the audience.Grade 4 presented Chinese Cultural Dress Walk along with a Dragon Dance. These all performances became one of the most memorable moments of the event.
Students of Grade 5 also showcased their project works on China, confidently explaining Chinese history, culture, traditions, and innovations, reflecting their hard work and understanding.
The entire event was well-managed with smooth coordination, proper seating arrangements, effective sound management, and disciplined crowd control. The beautiful decorations and stall setups added charm and enhanced the cultural experience.
Chinese Cultural Day at Rajarshi Gurukul was truly a fun-filled, educational, and memorable experience, leaving students with a deeper appreciation for Chinese culture and traditions. The celebration reflected the school’s commitment to global learning and cultural harmony.
