Memorial of the Visit to the House of Representatives

On Monday, August 4, 2025 (Shrawan 19, 2082 B.S.), we, the students of Grade 10 from both sections, Moksha and Nirvana, comprising a total of 46 students, along with our Grade Teacher and Social Studies teacher, went on an educational trip to the House of Representatives. Two buses were arranged for us, one for each section.

It was a rainy day, and before leaving, we had an early lunch at school. We reached the House of Representatives around 12:30 p.m. At first glance, the building appeared like a grand palace. As we entered, many kind staff members welcomed and guided us to our seats. We also noticed that several other schools were present there for the same purpose.

At around 1:00 p.m., the parliamentary session began under the chairmanship of Hon. Speaker Devraj Ghimire. In the session, the members of parliament were given a limited time to express their views on different issues. The main topics of discussion included the rumors about the government making polygamy legal and the ongoing problems in agriculture faced by farmers. Listening to the debates and arguments gave us valuable insight into how national issues are presented and discussed in the parliament.

After about an hour, we left the hall, clicked some group photos, and then made our way back to the buses. Finally, we returned to school with lots of memories and a deeper understanding of how our representatives work in the parliament.

राजर्षि गुरुकुलका विद्यार्थीहरूद्वारा प्रतिनिधि सभाको भ्रमण

वि.संं. २०८२ साल श्रावण १९ गते सोमवार यस विद्यालयमा कक्षा १० मा अध्ययनरत विद्यार्थीहरूलाई लिएर म र यसै विद्यालयका माध्यमिक तहका तह प्रमुख तथा गणित विषयका विषय शिक्षक श्री दीपककुमार झा शिक्षा आर्जनको महत्वपूर्ण अंशका रूपमा रहेको शैक्षिक भ्रमणका लागि नेपालको प्रतिनिधि सभाको अवलोकनका लागि गयौँ । उक्त दिन बिहानको सुरुका दुईओटा कक्षा सकिएपछि बिहानको खाना खाएर करिब १२ बजे हामी विद्यालयबाट निस्कियौँ । विद्यार्थीहरु नयाँ अनुभव तथा ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्नका लागि निकै उत्साहित देखिन्थे । दुईओटा सेक्सनका विद्यार्थीहरुका लागि दुई फरक फरक बसको व्यवस्था गरिएको थियो । गन्तव्यतर्फ जाने क्रममा बाटाभरि पनि विद्यार्थी भाइबहिनीहरूले प्रतिनिधि सभासँग सम्बन्धित विभिन्न जिज्ञासा राखिरहे । हामी शिक्षकहरूबाट पनि त्यस्ता जिज्ञासाको यथासम्भव उत्तर दिएर उनीहरूको उत्सुकता हटाउने काम भयो । हामी नयाँ बानेश्वरस्थित प्रतिनिधि सभाको भवन पुग्दा पानी पर्न सुरु गरेकाले हामीलाई केही असहजता महसुुस भयो तर पनि विद्यार्थी भाइबहिनीहरूको सिक्ने उत्कट चाहनाको अगाडि त्यो अवरोध नगण्य नै रह्यो । त्यहाँ पुगेपछि त्यहाँका कर्मचारी साथीहरूले हामी सबैको चेक जाँच गर्नुका साथै हामीले त्यस क्षेत्रमा पालना गर्नुपर्ने नियम तथा अनुशासनका सम्बन्धमा धेरै कुरा विनम्रतापूर्वक विस्तारमा बताउनुभयो । उहाँहरूको स्वागत गर्ने तरिका र मार्गनिर्देशनले हामी शिक्षकलगायत विद्यार्थी भाइबहिनीहरू पनि ज्यादै नै प्रभावित भयौँ ।

माननीय सभामुख देवराज घिमिरेको आगमनपछि दिउँसोको ठिक एक बजे पूर्वतालिकाअनुसार नै प्रतिनिधि सभाको बैठक सुरु भयो । उक्त सभामा उपस्थित सांसदहरूले जनसरोकारका विभिन्न विषयको उठान गर्नुभयो । यस क्रममा हाम्रा विद्यार्थी भाइबहिनीहरूले प्रतिनिधि सभाको बैठक सञ्चालनका बारेमा धेरै नै महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी प्राप्त गर्ने मौका पाए । जनप्रतिनिधिहरूले जनताका बारेमा लिएको चासोको हाम्रा विद्यार्थी भाइबहिनीहरूले मुक्तकण्ठले प्रशंसा गरे । त्यहाँका विभिन्न क्रियाकलापको अवलोकन र अध्ययन गरेर करिब २ बजे हामी उक्त स्थल छाडेर बाहिर निस्कियौँ । बाहिर आएर प्रतिनिधि सभाकै परिसरमा हामीले केही सामूहिक तस्बिर पनि खिच्यौँ र आफ्नै विद्यालयका लागि बाटो ततायौँ । नयाँ कुरा सिक्ने अवसर र अनुभव प्राप्त गर्न पाएकामा विद्यार्थी भाइबहिनीहरू निकै नै सन्तुष्ट थिए ।
