Field Trip to Gokarna Forest Resort: A Fun and Educational Experience

Last week, our junior Rajarshians had the opportunity to go on a special field trip to Gokarna Forest Resort. This day was all about relaxation, fun, and enjoying the hotel’s amenities in a beautiful, stress-free setting. It was a wonderful break from our regular school routine and allowed students to experience a luxurious hotel atmosphere.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a delicious breakfast and the smiling faces of the hotel staff. After a brief introduction, students had the chance to explore the hotel’s spaces. It started with a warm and delicious welcome: a breakfast featuring a variety of tasty options! The hotel staff had prepared a wonderful spread, offering everything from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes like scrambled eggs and pancakes. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and the students had a great time picking their favourite breakfast items. It was the perfect way to begin the day, filling us with energy and excitement for all the activities that lay ahead.

With a perfect breakfast and energized, smiling faces, we began our hike. During our forest hike through the golf course, we explored the peaceful trails surrounded by lush greenery, the deer appeared quietly, grazing in the distance. It was a special moment for everyone, as the students were thrilled to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. The experience made the hike even more memorable and gave us a deeper appreciation for the wildlife and natural beauty in the vicinity. It was truly a highlight of the day!

After our refreshing hike, we were treated to a delicious lunch, served with delicacies of mouth-watering dishes. The spread included everything from savoury options like sandwiches and salads to flavorful hot meals that satisfied everyone’s appetite. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it the perfect way to recharge after our outdoor adventure. With happy smiles and full stomachs, the students enjoyed a relaxing break, ready to continue the rest of the day’s activities.

Students were also permitted to tap into their creativity by participating in an art activity in a peaceful hotel environment. Set against the backdrop of serene surroundings, students unwinded and let their imaginations flow freely. With plenty of space to spread out, they worked on individual art projects, drawing inspiration from the calm atmosphere and beautiful hotel grounds. It was a wonderful opportunity for the kids to relax, focus, and express themselves creatively in a stress-free setting, making the experience even more enjoyable and enriching.

We also had time to enjoy some outdoor games and take in the beautiful hotel grounds. Everyone had a blast chatting, playing, and simply enjoying the beautiful setting. The kids played Bingo, musical chairs and they danced their hearts out. The day was filled with laughter, fun moments, and a much-needed break from our regular schoolwork.

The Daycation was a perfect way for students to relax, enjoy a change of scenery, and appreciate the peacefulness of the environment. It was a day of bonding, relaxation, and fun.
